Our local paper wrote about us and our Airstream

Our newspaper here in St. Louis, the Post Dispatch wrote about our Airstream, along with my best friend's Airstream. We feel honored to be in such a great article about something we truly love. ~Karen & Jimmy

You'll have to print a copy of the article and frame it for display inside your Airstream. What a great conversation starter when you're at an Airstream rally and everyone's doing the 'Stream Crawl to check out each other's units!

Karen & Jimmy,

The same writer did a Sunday feature on 3 of us a few years back. They did us with our then new Airstream, the Director of the Museum of Transport with her rehab and a couple of guys in the central west end with their vintage rehab.

I live in Fenton too, so PM me if you have a chance. My wife and I would love to see your Airstream. Mine is home in the drive right now awaiting clean up from the recent Moraine View Forums Rally. We had 23 units there, from new to some interesting rehabs in their own right. Love to see you there next year!

Karen, here's the one they did on us. The archive at the paper is dead but a forum member was able to copy it and show a few pictures at the bottom.

I was floored that the article on us was done in 2004. A lot of water over the dam. We still have that Airstream! While not close to vintage it is an orphan. No more slide outs being built.

Neat-O! With an Airstream, you never know what will come your way.

What a great article. I have a newer Airstream but hope to restore an older one some day. Way to represent the Midwest. I love it.

I'm in Kirkwood, have my old beater in the driveway. A neighbor brought me the paper so I could read the article. Good stuff
