Hi jacking thread.... let's get back to recliners....LOL....zzzzzzzz
Recliner story... first afternoon on the maiden voyage with the Serenity, we had been in camp for a few hours... it was about 5pm or so. I fully reclined just to relax, but fell asleep. Slept for a couple of hours. Felt great... just what a cushy recliner is made for. Wouldn't want the coach any other way.

Flht2k.... you have a sharp eye for small details, my friend! I wouldn't have expected most people to have a clue what that was... except perhaps those a bit more "in tune" shall we say.

Yes, once we take possession of a new coach, it does come standard! My wife appreciates having a few around when we travel, and so do I. Not that we expect any trouble in our low-key lifestyle. But sometimes trouble does come when least expected. We like to be prepared for it. Would not like to be unarmed, especially when boon docking.

Difficult to tell by the picture but is that the new material that AS is using on the floor? Any idea what it is called? I don't believe that it is linoleum.

Just wanted to comment that the. Images on this thread are very well done! Of course the subject matter is great also. Very nice trailer with what looks like a very open feel. With luck we will bump into you guys at a rally or something during the winter as we are normally in your area for a couple months.

Also Found it interesting that your using Lightroom on your laptop...... Well done

Cheers
Doug

Oh, Dhart, meant to say earlier. Yes, the window sliders in overhead consoles are different. The ones we saw yesterday in the 2015 were like a splatter pattern of metallic gold/silver. I greatly prefer what you have, if nothing else so I don't have to move the Blu-Ray player.

TinCan... I don't know if this floor material is new, but I'll tell you it's really t-h-i-n and laid over a soft substrate. It seems like it would be really easy to tear a hole in this flooring. Looks great. Feels great under bare feet... but I would recommend taking care not to abuse it, as I'm sure it could be damaged easily.

In part, for that reason, we decided to bring in a berber rug under the recliners and we have two long runners along the "traffic area". In addition, we will take care to stop gravelly grit at the doorstep.

As an aside... look at all the open window area here... added to the huge rear window over the bed, other side windows, and the door... man, you can get a huge amount of air flow through this tube!

Thanks Doug, I appreciate your comments. As a retired commercial photographer, I can't give up the image editing, which is easily 50% of producing good image quality. Once I started working in Lightroom (which was shortly after it was introduced), my Photoshop time dropped considerably. I LOVE Lightroom and wouldn't work without it!

I'm sure you and I could talk photography for daze on end!

Hopefully we can meet up sometime this winter, if you guys are in AZ... let us know! We're in NE Scottsdale, not far outside of city limits... on the edge of the Tonto National Forest. PM me for visitation details.

Dan... the translucent cabinet doors are definitely different in the Serenity, than in the other International. They made the doors in the Serenity less "transparent", which I think was a good move so that you mostly see luminescence through them (when the cabinet interior lighting is on), rather than more vivid views of what's in the cabinets.

Enjoy your planning and dreaming phase... it's nearly as enjoyable as having the real thing in your possession. Not that I would trade the real thing for the dreaming!

Yeah man, the new ones you have look better. The console sliding windows in the 2015 30' Serenity we saw was different than yours. They had the splatter pattern. The signature we saw had frosted plain windows with no pattern of any kind. The pattern in your Serenity looks much better than the Serenity we saw. It's a fairly big change, really.

No home (RV or otherwise) is well-defended without a good 12 gauge and 00 Buck!

I've seen a few Walking Deads. Kind of interesting, but I have a hard time when the fantasy part gets too deep. The shows depicting more of the end of civilization, rather than zombies, is a little more interesting (and realistic) to me. Defending against marauders, rather than zombies.
