Brian, Howdy and Hoppy!

Not to detract from this thread .... Too much..... I wonder how I could get a brewery set up in the AS?? Moving is not good as you know..during some steps. Then installing the taps in the wall... Will close proximity to aluminum ruin the "head"?

I'm surprised to see a 2014 date on a report of connection between aluminum and dementia. I remember having a scientific journal article about that topic in the 1980s when I was a research chemist. Old news.

Howdy!!! yes.. 'old' unless we haven't heard before...

I worked for a big corporation... they told us 'your body will eliminate this stuff'... Maybe...but, that was only true with current technology to test..

They sold that division... and many of the folks have serious health issues who worked there...compared to other areas of the company..

Just saying....

Here's my advice:

Don't eat aluminum.
Don't remove your brain and rub it in aluminum.

This aluminum connection theory has been around for quite a while. There seems to be enough of a connection that I do not use antiperspirant deodorants and do not use antacids that contain aluminum. We also do not eat out of or cook with aluminum kitchenware.

However, apparently europeans have the same amount of aluminum in their brains as americans, but a significantly lower rate of alzheimer's. One unproven theory is that the difference may be that americans drink fluoridated water. However there is also a theory that fluoridation helps prevent alzheimer's.

So until these "experts" figure out what is really going on, I suggest you ship your trailer to europe when it needs to be polished.

I think I can go further back. I was working on an aluminum gel to bind excess phosphorus in the mid 70's. It was going to reduce frequency of dialysis treatment.
Project was canceled due to concerns about aluminum toxicity.

All I know is to go with what my body tells me. I could never stand that taste of margarine (taste being our primary sensor for things avoid). I used butter all those years that everyone said it was bad for you. Turned out margarine was worse than butter.

Science is full of error and those that preach about bad and good have a lot to learn. For all we know aluminum could be a defense against something else....

I think that jury is out on that. Records will show that, so far, everyone who ever drank wine has died before the age of 150.

Just goes to show how statistics can be skewed. 100% of people who have never consumed alcohol have also died before age 150 :-)

that just goes to prove my premise that drinking alcohol does not help.

Skewing things is one of my hobbies.

As a matter of fact, I graduated with a BS from Skew U

I'm sure skew could be skewed into a number of words.

Ken

However don't misconskew my intent.

I hope to meet some of you down the road.
