Now look what you've done!

Prepare to launch! We pulled the trigger! I love cliches!

I initially came to the Forums a couple years ago as I began to consider the AS Lifestyle. My initial post:

http://www.airforums.com/forums/f483...rt-156974.html

A number of dominoes had to fall before we could start shopping over the coming spring/summer. However, while lurking/learning on the AS Classifieds towards the end of 2018, a potential opportunity presented itself. Long story short, we are in the process of acquiring a suhweeet package; 2016 Classic rear queen towed with a 2016 Ford F250 Diesel. We couldn't have custom ordered a rig better suited to our needs and desires.

The plan is to establish SD as our domicile. I own a home in MN that is occupied by family and a 5 acre farmstead in WI. During the summer months, the AS will be at the farm and we will split time between MN & WI with additional periodic excursions to other states. When the weather starts to turn, we will head to warmer climes for 6+ months. Based on my current understanding, I won't be in MN or WI for the 6 months and a day that marks one as a tax paying resident. We will be essentially full timers.

Any suggestions or concerns re: SD domicile establishment would be helpful although I'm sure there are threads I can pull up on that topic.

Perhaps there are some who can weigh in on the use of a Montana LLC for licensing and titles. I recognize it can be a bit controversial. My take is that it is less of an issue for full timers. Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

We are looking forward to the experience. Certainly lots to learn including getting the hang of using the massive amounts of accumulated knowledge on Airforums.

Vaya con Dios,

Snuffy
