Does anyone know anything about this book that's published by airstream life magazine?

Sure. It's a classic. It comes with your Airstream. You can get a kindle version. It's exceptionally well done even fun to read and - as we say in New England - wicked infawmative. 😄

What questions do you have about it?

We bought our 2001 Airstream from Larry Cook in Alabama a month ago and it is sitting at my father-in-law's in Mississippi until my wife and I pick it up in mid July.

We are anxious to learn as much about it before we fly out there and drive it back to California during a two week journey.

This two-week road trip will not only be an adventure with a new towing vehicle, a new airstream to us, but we will also be celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary during the trip.

Exciting times at many levels and I'm looking for resources in books to help us.

Any advice on good books would be much appreciated

There are some good threads here about your questions. Probably a good place to start. I would get the owners manual sent to Cali so I can absorb...before landing in MS.

Congrats on your 40th! DW and I are 7 years away :-)

You might want to download your trailer's user manual from the Airstream website (I think you can find them under the Service tab).

If you have a Kindle (or a Kindle reader for your phone or tablet) you can buy the book you're asking about and download it - which means you can pore over every word starting right now :-)

Last - this forum is a WEALTH of great information. Sometimes a little more heat than light but overall it's really great. Good luck!!

Wish we had it before we picked up our Airstream. Lots of good information. Download the owners manual. Hitching up and unhitching was a big deal for us at first. Might want to look at you tube videos for that. Working the awning was another thing that kind of thru us. I downloaded the video on how to do this to my phone and reviews it before putting the awning out.
