Newbie asks if you knew then what you know now

Hello All

We are new to the forum and newbies to Airstream. Picking up our 2007 27fb Classic with panos at front and rear with Hensley hitch from Can Am RV middle of April and taking our first weekender end of april to shake it down. Our Tow vehicle is 2008 Mercedes ml320 getting hitch reinforced. Would love any words of wisdom you care to pass on!!!!

Cheers and see you down the road!

I purchased my AS sight unseen and met PO halfway on cold wet snowish day....when the dust and snow settled, I only then noticed scratches along a whole side and sap removal via brillo spots on the street side and one front window. I would have definitely not paid what I did pay. I saw a couple brillo spots at pickup, but not the scratches because of the weather.
