Oh, the memories. We lived in Reno in the 1970s. Thanks for taking us home for a bit. And, Go Blue - both of us Class of '69 School of Music.

Excellent!

How did you make that? GoPro? I totally want to do that for some of our trips... on the other hand, the DC beltway probably isn't as picturesque.

Wowsa!

Beautiful video, wonderfully crafted. I felt like I could reach out and grab a cloud!

Of course, you cleared the rights, paid the mechanicals, or played and recorded the music yourself.

Do it again!

Really, thanks a lot. It made me want to get Henri out and take him down south this coming fall.

Aage, Thank you for your comments. And yes, we did write the music and we recorded it ourselves (we did have to pay to have it mixed and mastered). You can find the entire CD on iTunes. The band name is Caravan Gogh.

Scared the crap out of me on a few of those corners... then I remembered it was sped up. Awesome video!

I enjoyed the ride, but forgot to tell you that I get car sick if I don't sit in the front seat

Tell me about the Express/Savana. What engine? 4.3, 4.8, 5.3, 6.0? 1/2, 3/4, or 1 ton? 4L80E, 4L60E, or 6 speed?

I manage a fleet of approximately 290 power units which are mostly Express/Savana. Many have 400,000+ quickly approaching 500,000 miles. You may have many years of happy trails ahead of you. They do hold up better than the Ford Econolines, which are being phased out this year for a big Transit Connect.

I guess the time lapsed photography or software caused portions of it to look like computer animation- or maybe that was the fact it was going so fast.
