At the Internatational the President of Airstream commented on their financial relationship with the "Bank Of Thor". (Paraphrased) Airstream says they need money and Thor writes a check. True or not it made a good story.

It is a good story and somewhat unbelievable. Pres. Wheeler was brought in years ago to cut costs and did so. His innovations have not been all that successful. If he wants money, I'm sure he has to justify it in depth. Airstream is a money maker for Thor and the (big) checks usually go the other way.

Gene -- I agree that the new Basecamp and The 16' Bambi are very similar in terms of what you get inside. So, that does put them a bit in competition with each other.

The Bambi is bigger (in volume, not length), the Basecamp is less expensive, and different people with view the different styles differently. I will be very interested to see how this plays out.

Could you provide a link to the spy photos, or an article about the new Basecamp?

Thanks

It's got 2 mailboxes, one for letters and one for packages. Obviously it is for long term stays in the national forest. The red will blend in in about a month.

I suppose you could park at Walmart and they may not even notice it for a while.

And maybe more we can't see.

That station wagon with the 5th wheel proves that you can be very clever and still be stupid.
