When you were here Dan, we were down east on Cape Breton Island, NS.

Google Maps

Below is a shot from the ARC on the east coast of Cape Breton travelling north. I think the best route is clockwise on this tour.

It is a small world Dave, we did Cape Brenton last August. Love the 13% grade. We too did it clockwise. You can follow our trip here We had a great 4 month ride.

Cheers, Dan

Imagine my surprise to go to this site and see a recipe pop up for "Mince & Tatties", almost identical to what my Danish "Nana" cooked when I was a child. Never could find a recipe for it.

She called it Mincemeat, and her dish was what I thought mincemeat was until I was well into adulthood.

Going to have to try this on my carnivore hubby.

Neat site. Thanks!

🏡 🚐 Cherish and appreciate those you love. This moment could be your last.🌹🐚❤️

The first year I lived in the UK I was a bit boggled by a request for tatties and neeps...only to discover it's only mashed potatoes and turnips...
