Lightbulb Need Advice on which model to purchase for family.

Hi All!

Our family is hoping to join the airstream community some time this year. We are a family of four, with two boys, (4 &1 yo respectively) and a cat named Susan. We work from home via the internet and would like to start fulltiming.

We are really leaning towards airstreams because of their apparent higher build quality and re-sellability (we are wanting to full time 2 years).

However, we'd like help on what make/models are good for family living. Our wants are as followed:

1.Decent living space (so a bigger model?)
2. Sleeping space for all of us (2 small kids, 2 tall adults)
3.A space to convert into a work desk
4.Budget friendly (looking at a $5-20k price range right now)

What are your recommendations??? (non-airstream recommendations welcome too.) THANK YOU!

I have no idea what your personal taste are. I would recommend visiting as many Airstream rallies and dealerships as you can. That way you can see many different layouts.

Two Good Books by Long Long Honeymooner

I suggest two books by C.S. Michael

How to buy and Airstream
Living Large in a small Tin Can.

The first book covers many aspects of why longer is not always better. plus a collection of other topics to help the decision process.

They also have a series of great you tube videos to help those making an Airstream decision.
