Hi all,
I know it has been a long time since you have heard from me. My trailer went over the AS of Spokane early this year for the un-hitching repairs and to be sold.
It went on the market in March and sold a few weeks ago. I was surprised at how fast she sold. I am also glad she has a new home.
I have left Montana for the time being.
My house and my land are up for sale. I could not get a job. I packed up and moved in with my sister in Florida.
Getting here was quite the journey. I towed a 26ft flatbed goose neck trailer loaded. I couldn't stand to weigh it until I got close to my destination. The trailer weighed in at 13,160; 840 lbs under gross. My axles weighed in at 5320 and 6340. ooops a little overloaded. CGVW 24820.
On my way here I was pinned down by snow for two days, stopped to see my Cousin in ABQ, Truck engine just quit 35 miles East of ABQ (High pressure fuel pump). Towed back to ABQ and two days later I was on my way. The rest of the trip was uneventful.
If her is a Can-opener in 2014 I might attend with the tent and the Motorcycle. I just have to find out how I can pack a toilet and shower in my tent.
See you all later on the vintage side.
