Home brewer as well, and branching out as a Vintner. I have always enjoyed New Belgium's brews, but I have to get my hands on this just for the box. The picture of the Airstream in the parking lot clinched it

Well, there is a place around 50 miles from me that might have it. It looks like Florida is well covered.

Here's a link to the Libation Locator:

I have been a partial mash beer brewer for years. More recently I went to 80% grain and honey instead of malt. It much cheaper, and better flavor. I'm still doing 5 gal batches, and grain in the bag. Just don't have the space for a full all grain setup. But since you can do 15 gals all grain in the same amount of time as 5 gals I have been thinking about it.

I also keg, it's the only way to go..

"I don't always drink beer, but when I do, I drink..." a lot of it!

Ay, what a shame it is...I assume that anyone sitting in an Airstream with a foot of snow on the roof would be bitterly cold, and that explains the connection of a bitter IPA with Airstream graphics. Bought a six pack, and the taste might be a cure for my alcoholism--good thing I have some tasty homebrews to wash these down with!

Funny my husband just commented yesterday he really liked the white IPA. He usually says 'meh' about new beers.

I would be cool to do a Home Brewer AS rally. All get together, share our best home brews, swap recipes, possibly even brew some beer that we can all take home in our fermenters.. I guess we would need a private RV park, and a cool but not cold time of the year....

Unfortunately we don't get any beers from New Belgium here in the northeast. Not sure why. Fat Tire is one of my favorites and used to enjoy it quite a bit when I lived in NC. Now whenever I travel south I stock up and bring some home with me, unfortunately it does not last very long.

I hope I can still find Accumulation when I travel west again in January.

Accumulation Ale finally showed up in the Chicago “Super Boonies”.

A pour into a pint glass produced a good medium bodied head. Light amber color.
The taste starts as a mild grapefruity IPA with an undefined, as the label calls it “fruity” flavor. Had kind of a musty/bitter finish.
I was having this with a dinner of grilled pork chops, sweet potatoes and apple sauce. Food paring could be the key to this brew. The flavors worked much better with the apple sauce.
Probably good for a 3 on a scale of 5.

No matter. Heading to Madison Wisconsin tomorrow. Taking some friends to the Mustard Museum. While I’m in town I’ll pick up some Seasonals from Capital and New Glarus Brewing.

Tom

New Glarus, yum! I keep trying to find a reason to visit WI so I can go there. My wife loves fresh cheese curds... Hmmmmmmm. Wonder how much beer I can fit in the caravel.

Loved the rating Tom. Spoken like a member of the bjcp.

By the way if anyone is on untappd my name is drunkenslothbrew.
