The Oregon coast last summer. Lewster had just installed solar for me in Hood River, and it was a perfect week of exploring the coast. Spectacular, and no hook-ups required!

So hard to pick just one!
1 - My first-ever camping trip in my Airstream. And every one that followed; it only gets better…
2 - Crossing the Continental Divide in my Airstream Interstate, pulling my Honda Fit toad, and still getting nearly 16mpg despite the altitude. Talk about getting high!
3 - Every time in a campground, or at a highway rest stop, or a service station, when a complete stranger comes up and says, "I love your rig!"
4 - When I drove my Interstate to work for the first time, and I had to spend over half the work day giving my coworkers tours of it. Not that any one tour takes very long in a dinky little Interstate, but there were a lot of people wanting a peek inside…

Mine has to be "coming home" to a campground after a long day driving the truck to and from meetings. It was dark and late by the time I got there. From across the camp I saw the "glow" of the AS windows with a campfire reflected in the aluminum. Our running lights were on, highlighting the body of the Silver Otter. My honey was seated by the fire, holding a cold adult beverage for me. That's the Life.

Driving through the Rockies in the middle of the night. The FaN vs. the rogue truckers. For the complete story, see Welcome to the Breakfast Show.

I will think back to that night when I'm old and the only thing I'm driving is one of those scooters.
