Looking at the Flying Cloud 25FB twin. We know our trade is going to be a challenge, but it seems like most of the dealers have a take it or leave it attitude with the Airstreams right now because they are more popular than ever. We would just like someone we could have an intelligent, honest conversation with that is knowledgeable about the product and can give us some options. Thanks for the input.
Up in Ontario, Canada, the dealer of choice is CanAm in London.
There is a dealer in Ottawa, but I have no experience with them.
I traded in my New 25' FC, for a 30'FC, 'cause I was not happy with the 'East-West' bed, and lack of storage. No problem!
John gave me a very decent trade-in, ordered a new 30' FC, and now I have a very comfortable 'home away from home'.
The few interior snags were looked after, 'toot-suite', and I have no shame in bragging about their good service and ambience for the customer.

Another vote for Colonial ... Patrick specifically, but they're all great! It's almost like every last one of them is the owner him/herself!

I would suggest Haydocy Airstream in Columbus Ohio. Talk to either Eric or Brian.

Just bought 2017 airstream interstate from John Spruell at The R V Shop in Baton Rouge, 985-507-6532 (cell). Shopped everywhere. He not only gave best price but was very straightforward and knowledgeable. Helpful after sale also. Very pleased.

Toscano RV. Los Banos, CA. Ask for Dave. You won't get a better deal anywhere else.

Still another enthusiastic vote for Colonial. I traded in my Sunline on a used Airstream online and on the phone. In the back of my mind this was risky but, with the great treatment from everyone I dealt with there, that now ranks as one of my most pleasant purchases ever.

We had a great experience with Bill Thomas Trailer in Wentzville, Missouri. Folks drive by other AS dealers to shop here. Multiple purchases.

Good point. Best case scenario is to be able to buy and service locally, as SeaLevel suggests, but that wasn't an option for me. Unfortunately, I won't deal with the local dealer for service because my experience with the sales department was so bad; may be wrong to assume one flows to the other, but I'm not going to chance it.

There are other dealers closer than NJ that have a good service reputation that I may talk with when it comes to service, but when I spoke with them about buying they either had incorrect knowledge of the product or wanted to good 'ole boy me to pay more. And these were dealers with good reputations in this forum. I may end up performing some maintenance on the trailer myself because I can, but my first prerequisite was dealing with a company I could trust in purchasing the trailer. I can also feel good about their service in this case. It's not just about the initial price, but who I prefer to do business with. All the best in your decision.

I bought mine here in Portland OR and I believe they own 3 others (Wa, Id, and Ca), so another vote for https://airstreamnw.com/

I've had a need for service but I don't have any dealers "close" to where I keep my Airstream. And hooking up the Airstream to have some work done on it is just not practical. I still work. I would need to take days off for that. And I'd rather take them off for something else.

So a good relationship with a mobile RV repair person is important to me. And hoping nothing "major" needs repair. The wife wants to go to Jackson Center for the tour. It will have to wait until we retire. 7 years on the very positive side, 17 years on a worst case scenario. Between now and then I hope I never have to take the trailer anywhere for a repair. I hope I can bring the repair (if needed) to the trailer.

Texas Airstream Dealer

We also have had a great experience with Bayer in Dublin, TX! Very small and very personal. Made us a great cash deal (we did very well selling our SOB rather than trading it in) and the delivery experience was pleasant and very thorough. We did all our negotiations by email and phone and drove from Springfield, MO to pick it up.
We never expect to sell our 2016 Eddie Bauer (apparently the last one sold new, anywhere), but we certainly will recommend Bayer to anyone who asks.
There are some great RV campgrounds in that are, too!
Happy camping!

We drone from Houston to Tampa for our23FC.. RV1 was good to us. The Tec that got her ready was awesome. We were brand new to camping. He told us everything we needed and sent us to Camping World. He spent a lot of time with us. Our sales person is no longer there.
I would consider Colonial in NJ though. Real high volume.
I would NOT go to Holiday World in Katy.

Wish we would have know this a couple weeks ago. They have a 2016 that they are darn near giving away. We decided to drive 900 miles south for a 2017 and got burned! Had to drive 900 miles home empty handed. Almost went to Safford for the 2016.

We got our 23FB up in Quad Cities IA. I do not recommend that dealer. It's a sister dealer to a Chicago dealer. The guys in IA did not know much about AS. But we saved over $7K buying from them. I would have preferred to buy locally, but that's just too big of a price dif to justify it.
