Just thought I would put in a note as we arrived home yesterday from our last camping trip of the year
. It was our first full season with our Airstream and we still can't get over how great it is. Everything is perfect....from the bright spacious interior, our newly polished exterior, the ability to be warm in cold weather, and cool on hot days, and the ease of towing with the Hensley. Now comes the sad chores of clearing out the trailer, cleaning, and winterizing before taking it to its winter storage space.
But we did go out in style! On Saturday evening it was cold..near freezing..and we had 6 friends at the campsite over for diner. Bundled up for snacks outside before all 8 of us sat down for a great meal inside. Opened the table by the couch, got out the Airstream folding chairs from their storage nook and presto seating for 8. All marveled at the space we had inside and a great time was had by all. Great finish to the season.
