Possibly the easiest fix for flying insects inside your Airstream is to run your exhaust fans on the highest speed they have, and remove any screens on the fans. Flying insects generally don't like to fly upwind, and so they will fly in the same general direction that the wind is blowing. So you make your own wind inside the Airstream to blow them back outside.


I haven't tried this with no-see-ums because I haven't encountered them in my Airstream, but it works fine for skeeters, horseflies, houseflies, fruit flies, and love bugs.

Chiggers are the absolute worst. Had a patch of beautiful black raspberry vines in the back corner of the yard. Problem was that was where the chiggers lived.
Daughter and I got eaten by chiggers every time. And of course the bites itch for weeks...
