It can only get better!!

There's no place like home....There's no place like....

We returned a few days ago from the Tuscan region of Italy. What a great time, so much to see.
Our Airstream Safari has been at the dealer since we bought it and now with the new F-150 and all. We are ready to pick her up and GO.
I am on the phone with Pete, a friend, asking how all was while we were away. He says that, “the weather was perfect with the exception of one day with a lot of wind. Oh yea, and a tornado hit in Stoughton, some trailer park….No, it was a dealer that sells campers!!” Holy Moly, I jump on U-tube and sure enough it was my dealer, Airstream of New England.

Barbara and i get in the truck and make the trip down there. Seeing John the manager at the door we both say, “we hope you did not have any reason to call us.” He says, “I am sorry but our phones are still out and I was going to call you today. Yours was on of two Airstreams damaged. It is pretty minor and we have already ordered parts.”
Ours was stuck by some flying object. Leaving a dent in a rear panel. Airstream of New England is an Airstream and Coachmen RV Dealer. All the Airstreams stayed in one place and on the ground. The Coachman were lifted and moved around, totalling four of them. Of the 18-20 AS’s two received minor damage form material strikes.

They are replacing the whole rear quarter panel.
We can pick it up in about a week along with an Equal-i-zer Sway control hitch.
So much to learn!

I wonder if the reason they stay on the ground during a tornado is the same reason they tow so well...

Yikes! We're going to Tuscany in a few weeks. Do I have to worry about my Safari????
