We will be looking at our first Airstreams THIS 4th of July weekend We CAN't wait... We feel like kids (again) who want a big toy

Great recommendations, hey and maybe my neighbors would not mind me keeping it in the driveway between trips.... that trailer is so pretty, we will see....

Is it true that the Airstream parts and maintenance is very expensive compared to other trailers???? ( like the Scamps or Casitas)

PS- I think the search is part of the fun

I would say repair and maintenance is less expensive in comparison to other brands. I had another brand for 2 years 4 months and it was in the shop every week. I have had the Airstream 1 year 8 months and have not any major issues. I do have a long list of minor issues that I will get repaired at Jackson Center in September before the warranty runs out in October.

We are new owners (last October) of a 2014 20 ft Flying Cloud. It's the two of us and a dog. So far (five weekend trips), we've found this model serves our needs very well. Like the layout very much.

We are towing with a Jeep Grand Cherokee EcoDiesel. Like you, we had never towed anything, and we're finding it easy to tow (with quite a bit of practice and a decent teacher, of course). The first couple of times I was very nervous, but that overwhelming nervousness has waned. Now I'm just mostly nervous But it gets better each time; I find myself feeling more comfortable each time we go out. My backing up skills, on the other hand, still need some practice.

We store ours about 45 mins away in NH at the dealership where we bought her. We live in Boston; there is really no way we could store her at home. Last winter she was stored outside, but our dealership has a second location in Maine with inside storage -- we'll have her moved there for this winter.

We are loving every minute of it. Four trips out this season so far with about 10 more planned (mostly weekends with a week-long trip planned). We definitely don't regret our decision.

Have fun looking at the different models over July 4th weekend. Good luck with your search!!

Cute! We have two cats. We rotate dogs then cats! My husband is skeptical . I say they will love it that's what those big windows in the airstream are for!

I found a great website..... Www.just5moreminutes.com
Although I quickly became depressed that I could never keep up with this woman!
But amazing site

a newer model 20' airstream weights about 4000lbs and will carrry almost another 1000lbs of cargo...according to toyota's web page the v6 highlander's max tow capacity is 5000lbs...you probably should be considering a tv with a greater towing capacity

Thanks!!!!! This bed is from Bed, bath and beyond. Its an Orthopedic Pet Bed. She has several beds, from cheap to very fancy and this is her favorite. This doggie is 13 years old so this is specially good for older dogs.

Thanks for the info! I have an older dog with hip dysplasia, and she has several beds too. But I'm looking to replace her old orthopedic bolster bed with a new one.

Yes, my husband always kids me about all the beds our dog has! She even has one in the truck and one in the Airstream that matches our decor. I can't help it
