We do about 23 2-3 day trips. Nearly every other weekend.

Our plan is one long weekend a month from April to September and 2 weeks in the summer - one at the beach and one to visit our grandniece :-)

Just the number. If you are full-time, just say "FT".

We are 10.
Just one. And it lasted five months. In the summer I have no place to park it.

The Old and The New...

When we were w*rking we averaged 10 "outings" - mostly 3 - 4 day weekends with a couple week-long excursions here and there.

Now that w*rk is out of the way... we're down to 5 or 6 outings a year but 3 of them will be 2 months or more in duration.

We've found traveling (i.e. long trips) in our Airstream to be quite enjoyable. It's great to spend 10+ days going from point A to point B when everyone else is zipping by at light-speed. Stopping to smell the proverbial roses, picking and choosing the sights to see, spending time visiting friends & family, participating in rallies, and volunteering around the country - it's a great way to see the U.S. and Canada.

Still working (both of us) and two toddlers so a little less than others.
5-6 long weekends in the summer and maybe one 5-6 day trip

I'm so envious of you guys. We're figuring out how fit more time in, currently 6 or so long weekends a year.

I figured it up yesterday. We both work and have two school age kids, but so far we've managed 25 nights since 2013 started in our airstream. First full week of January was the second half of our Christmas trip (hit the Canopener on that one), a week during spring break in S Louisiana, three nights in a forum rally here near home, and the rest so far in "just gotta get away" weekends within an hours drive from the house. We've got Fourth of July week off to go somewhere and several holiday weekends to fill up along with many more "just gotta get away" weekends. You could say we've all got the itch bad. we love to travel and we love to camp. I can't imagine what we'd be doing if we didn't have to schedule around work and school!
