Thats a good sign you are not camping and moving enough Jay???
I had the same little ((&&%^%$ in my mirror last week. After cleaning with the water hose, and going for a day trip, they were back again the day after I returned home. I sprayed the mirror guts with WD40 and have not seen any there since.
I did see one go under my front Penquin unit when I was on the roof, but after looking and banging the shroud I did not get any reaction so I am hopeful they have not moved there.
I am going to try the flee collar trick that 247 suggests. Any prevention is worth a try.

I've used a hornet/wasp spray several times - seems to be doing the trick - they are getting less and less in numbers (after whacking the top of the shroud with a broom) - but I can't actually hit the nest with the spray - I'm going to wait till I have at least a couple of "hornet free" days before taking the shroud off ....
Anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks,
