Fun stuff
A friend gave me a banjo uke with an original skin head. I should get that going as my next hobby, particularly since ukes go so well with Airstreams.

rubberstamping

I love rubberstamping. I am into card making. I pack up my rubberstamps, ink, papers, cutters, cardstock, pens, scissors and various other materials to embellish. It is lots of fun and I can always spread it out on picnic tables and get others to join me. I make alot of new friends and we share many great ideas. Kind of like a make-it-take-it workshop on wheels! And if I am not doing that I usually have my crochet hooks and yarn and thread along for some other project that I am working on. That is a little more portable than the stamps.

Lou's (loudruff)
hobby is one she shares with others too and its great!!

I've got a real adrenaline addiction so I like to watch bread rise, then knead it or not, often I do two or three loaves at once just for a little excitement. Then the other half of the hobby is sharing the bread. When we get a real oven I'll bake it in the trailer, now I bake it outside the trailer.

be tolerant with my answer....

So... what do you like to do in your AS on a rainy day? (Or maybe a sunny day too!)
Using computer, watching sat TV and listen to the music with our new sony car radio ( with the airstream design ) are current things to do when it's raining...
Curiously nobody is talking about something that all normal couple do normally....
Or is it a specificity from France since Yves Montand met Marilyn Monroe and was created the "french lover" reputation.
All my apologizes if I hurt your sensilitity, I'm just married now ( see the video on you tube) but it 's more difficult to talk about that instead of to do it; I agree with you....

Thank you to be tolerant with me....

I like to spend my down time cooking- never have time to enjoy it at home. Also making cards, reading, doing beadwork or watching movies. Hubby likes to nap with the jack russell- chopper.
As for the outside, I, too am a rock pickeruper- have been for years. We kayak, ride bikes and explore.
Those kite pictures are amazing! What a cool hobby.
It is really interesting to see the diversity.

Later this week We'll be schlepping the sewing machine up to Port Townsend Washington for the annual Fort Wordon Kitebuilders Conference KiteMakers.org It's an absolute blast!

Next year we're considering going up in the 'stream and making a 2 or 3 week outing.

Does relaxing in the Airstream with a book and a cocktail count as a hobby? If it does then count me in. I like to send hubby off with the kids and dog for a hike (forced march) and I flop on the couch and revel in the silence...

Makes me a much saner person.

I am slowly teaching myself silver smithing since we moved aboard last year. Somehow I didn't do much of that this winter...instead I recovered valances, chairs, wall coverings, dyed pet stains to match the carpet, replaced all the outside stripes, complete compounding and wax job, got into cooking and bread making, also did some random walkby gardening at the campground...had a blast in general!

So, Loudruff, what and how you pack rubberstamping "to go"?
I like to quilt and scrapbook. Both of those hobbies are heavy! I intend to full time in about a year.

Welcome to the forums. Maybe you could "virtual scrapbook"? That is, scan or photograph the items you would put in a scrapbook, and you can incorporate it into a library on your laptop. When we fulltimed, we got pretty creative about saving space and weight in our hobbies.
