Finally got my Airstream

I have been lurking in the backround for a few years now on this forum and have to admit it has some great information available. My wife and I are on the verge of retirement and I've wanted to replace my older Pinnacle motorhome with a pusher. I am a salesman for an Airstream dealer in southern CA for a few years and have really learned to appreciate the quality of the Airstream product (so please don't hate me). I've been to the factory twice, which gives you a greater understanding of what Airstreams are really about.

So our new coach is a 1999 Cutter 35' slide diesel, it was bought new locally and we bought it from the original owner with only 51k mi. I'm so jazzed! Can't wait to start taking some longer trips.

I have been RVing for over 40 years but we've never been east of CO because of time constraints. So I'm very in tuned to the lifestyle and find it very easy to help people with their RV needs. I quote from the forum quite often and refer people here just as often. I love the comments, some very helpful and some a little over the top.

Now that I'm an official owner I will try to add my 2-3 cents worth of knowledge.

Welcome from Colorado: I'm glad you decided to participate. You likely have a lot of Airstream knowledge and can help us out.

Congratulations on your new Cutter and your upcoming retirement. We love pulling our Airstream in our retirement. You mentioned traveling east of Colorado. Well, it's very flat from Denver to the Missouri river. Windy sometimes too. You'll love checking it out.
