Do you think others smile like this?

2 weeks into ownership of our this forum, love the people. other owners of SOBs smile as much as I do daily? Seriously, I slap my leg and chuckle every time I look at it.

First rally in 2 weeks if the weather cooperates. Ready for what lays ahead, excited for the journey.

ahhhhh....brings back so many memories. My smiling was coupled with total bewilderment and some horror, i.e. what have I done? It was the second most expensive purchase after a house.

Glad you are so gung-ho. I hope it never fades.

I am just speculating about SOBs; I doubt if they are as proud of their unit as Airstreamers, but the anticipation and experience merits the same smiles/mile, regardless of what you drive or tow.

My Airstream still makes me smile when I look at it, and we're heading for our ten year anniversary together. Enjoy!

Take pleasure in what you have and be grateful. There is a big empty spot in the driveway where our Safari normally sits (it's in warehouse storage) and it makes me a bit sad...

I think you might actually have one of the most comprehensive perspectives of ownership - you know what the travails of this can be (given your trailer's floor), you'll work to overcome them, and you have a trailer you really like. Not a bad blend.

We smile, inwardly and outwardly, all the time.

So fortunate are we all to be living our dreams.

We know how you feel. We feel the same way. 39 states and 2 provinces later, we still grin like kids every time we are with our Otter.

I'm flat out on the sofa right now....
I think I'll stay here and admire my cocoon and smile for a little longer before I leave the air-conditioning!

We continue to smile after having cooked and eaten a nice meal in our AS - even if its parked in our driveway!

Our Flying Cloud is one year old this month, and we logged about 12,000 knee-slapping, giddy as all get out miles the first year! And, we went to 7 rallies, and met a lot of great people. We're sold, you might say.
