Just curious, is there a reason why the sewer vent is on the outside rather than inside a wall? The house and Airstream do look very nice.

Thanks... That is just the way it was when I bought it and it is all original. There probably was not enough room inside on the original design. Small house. The other side of the house has an external vent as well by the kitchen. That location is where the bathroom is.

More current pic minus the Airstream....

It can be done, especially when you are working night and day on a project.

I lived in a 23' AS with my brother while starting a new business in the Bay Area many years ago.

We rented a spot in a Trailer Park with full hookups. We were one of two campers in that TP. The other camper was a family of Mexicans in a little Shasta. There must have been 5 or 6 kids in that Shasta, and no bathroom. They did great. Those kids were lots of fun, and the parents were fine folks.

So, yes, with the right mindset, it can be done.

Thanks for all the replies everyone, much appreciated! So we are going to look at this duplex rental today before we make our decision. Its only 10 blocks away and it has a garage for storage.

Currently there is no place to park close to the house, there aren't really any driveways and my lot is all built in and surrounded by an 8' fence. So we would have to RV park it...

There's a nice RV park at the north Wilsonville exit. (Pheasant Hill?)

Unless you intend to keep the Airstream after the renovation, I'd go for SOB. If you want to keep the Airstream, I'd go bigger. Something with a walk around bed, and a bit more elbow room.
