One of the regular campers at our Pec Rallies has a commercial Margarita machine.
“What luck!!” We say.
He brought it to our last get-together.
After hauling it out of his truck we find it has a 20 amp plug.
“No problem.” We say. A quick run to the nearest town and an hour later we’ve got an adapter wired up to fit the 30 amp.
We fire it up and wait for frozen delights.
But it’s not getting cold enough to freeze.
The Campground Host is tooling along in his golf cart, sees the looks of consternation and disappointment and swings on in.
“There’s a local fella camping here that has a HVAC business”, he said as he gestured down the road.
He fires up the cart and putters off.
A while later the Pro and his brother show up, examine the situation and say, “ Could be low on juice.”
“It’s full of juice.” we say. “If you can get it running you won’t have to buy your own drinks or make your own dinner tonight. We’ve enough food and drinks to feed half the park.”
(OK. Sometimes we go a bit overboard with our potluck themes.
)
15 minutes later he’s got a can of freon and a gauge set. 10 minutes after that the first batch churns from the tap and is judged worthy of consumption.
“What luck!!” we say and set up another table for our honored guests and families.
The next morning we all agree it was yet another fine Rally, where’s the coffee, and could you pleeese kept the noise down a little?
