Yup!

Class A, Class B and B+, trailers mounted on Cab and chassis's, which makes them Class C………….and last but not least Class "T".

At least we don't have a caste system.

Cheers
Tony

Airstream built class A and B motor homes for many years, and still builds class B motor homes. I think the last year for the class A was 2006.
They have only ever built one class C motor home, ever.

Whatever happened to that class C? We saw it once sometime in the early to mid 2000's and met the couple who owned it but never saw it or heard about it again. It was a nice unit.

Someone up here in Ontario Canada had it for sale last summer for $24,000 Can.

It's the second photo, the red and white trailer over the Cab and Chassis

Obviously, this was posted tongue-in-cheek.
The real class C is on a modern Ford chassis, and AFAIK, it is not for sale, nor has it been recently.

Sigh another Airstreamer with motorhome class A envy.

We saw this Airstream class C last year at the Alumafiesta rally. We were told it is the one & only C and was a prototype. Not the best picture…it looked new but was built in 04, 05, or 06. (Can't remember)

badkat,

The answer is indeed yes, I happen to own a 1990 Land Yacht (class A). Just picked her up last November from an elderly woman recently widowed. She is in great physical and mechanical condition with all the Airstream bells and whistles. My wife and I intend on making a trip down south this summer so if you happen to have a class A AS sighting yourself, it just may be us!

There are Class A forums (under "motorhomes") and Class A's for sale as well. We did not have a TV, so when we started looking to buy something and added up the cost of a TV + trailer or a Class A, we decided that it would be a little cheaper to have a single self-contained unit & haul a toad behind. so far, so good. Even though ours is a newer Land Yacht and is not shiny silver color, the local 'Streamers let us join them at local rallies.
