Buc-EEs has outdone themselves once again. Have you seen these neat ice chests?

Ice Chest
I saw these just before Christmas in a small eclectic gift shop in Le Claire, Iowa. The Airstream was okay but it needed an insulated plastic interior liner instead of the metal one that the mfgr made up and installed with a drain hole and hose in the bottom. I thought it was just too expensive at $850.00. Is the one at BUC EE's any less pricey? Ed

$850 is way too pricey for me. I don't know the price at Buc-EE's. A friend texted me and asked if I wanted one. I'll see how much they are if I get a chance.

Last year we saw them at two small retail locations here in Florida for under $300, so you should shop around. Joe

From 850.00 to 300.00. the internet shows us the honest people not trying to rip us off.

These are art. Art has a value to some but not others. I do not see this as ripping one off. These are hand made. If you spent ten hours labor and the cost of materials; how much would you charge?

I'm sorry they're both honest, and ripping off does sound harsh . Jayseejay found the ice chest for under 300.00 in Florida. Biged52 seen the same ice chest for 850.00 in Le Claire Iowa. Almost three times more for the same art. They probably cost 150.00 wholesale with the strong dollar to Yuan exchange. Bottom line is the gift shop in Le Clair Iowa is over priced.
