Cape Cod in April?

We are looking for some guidance for a short, 4/5 day trip to Cape Cod in April from our home in Maine. We have checked and not much appears to be open (parks, grounds, etc.). Anyone know of boondock opportunities, or places where we can stay?

We have been Airstreamers for a year, and have found we enjoy the more rustic settings like State Forests and undeveloped sites versus established RV parks.

Boondock on Cape Cod in April?

Anyone know of places open, or available, for boondocking on Cape Cod early in the season?

Nothing seems to be open in the State Parks or Forests

Scusset beach and shawme Crowell state parks are open weekends year round. I usually do shawme in April. Not 4-5 days, but at least they're open. The other state parks don't open until May.

Here's one that opens in March:

Rates | Bourne Scenic Park

Wouldn't be my first choice as it really isnt in the woods or anything like i prefer, but if there's nothing else open.

For future reference, there is a place in Wellfleet or Truro called Houghton's if I remember correctly, although they are probably not open that early.

We have visited Coastal Acres Campground in PTown. Close to National Seashore park and walk into Town.

There is a wbcci rally there in April. Check it out here:
