Have you looked into the Kermit Chair Company? Looks like a great product and I hope I get one for my birthday later this week.

I'll swap Astro Dan his bag for a zero gravity chair!

Look inside a REAL "zero gravity" chair.

Target variety was too short for me and dug into back of my ankles

Otherwise pretty comfortable

I think the friction locks are a weak point - they are not very strong and after fiddling with them it was very easy to overwhelm then with a bit of movement - and I think they could break over time -

But - I am going to give another shot for the target variety tonight and try something for the feet area - bit I think I'll return - I think I want it to fit my legs or at least where show heels contact and not back of ankles

Camp Chair Mulling

Lafuma clipper in black ordered one for my wife to try and an XL of the same one for me to try - backcountry online folks were helpful and knocked off a seemingly decent amount off their listed price and told me they will accept the return if we don't like

If we like it's my bday Father's Day gift

Ships in a day or two

It's the futura clipper model - only one in XL

No bungee string things - if anyone has had experience with this design - that would be helpful

We have 2 Kermit chairs with leg extensions and cup holders. We also have the Kermit table. We love them. They now have wider versions.

I watched a couple youtube videos of those kermit chairs....and you know what...I was really impressed...the leg extensions seem weird and breakable to me though??

I did not give them much more play in my mind because it did not match what I was looking for...that is something really darn comfy by not a la-z-boy....but if I am un-impressed by the lafuma...I am forgetting zero gravity and reclining chairs alltogether and just will buy a couple chairs for basic and comfortable sitting....

The kermit chairs would be extremely attractive to fit that bill because they fit other bills...including bringing on a short hike...or on a bike...or for extremely easy storage freeing up space...

They do seem quite solid and while the pico type chairs would be a contender against them, they are perhaps a bit heavier and do not break down that small (although the pico chairs are much easier (relatively) to break down/put together than the kermit chairs).

I like the looks of the Kermit chairs but damn they are expensive as I would need the extensions for the legs. Tough to justify
