I saw a couple of those last time I was at that dealer. The side desk is something I am considering as an upgrade!

They have a local Oregon partner that does the work, they are called ultimate airstream http://www.ultimateairstreams.com

Hmmmmm. How dare they do that - at the wrong end of the country. One 30 footer 2 door please. Perfect for the fulltimer. Oh, and I want the recliners not the lounge. And I want the bathroom door to open in the opposite direction.

May be wrong but I think the 2 door models are going to be available thru all dealers from Airstream. Have no idea what the floorplan will look like.

I've been in a burning building ONCE. Fire moves fast, and a trailer can go up in flames in seconds. While I have an extra fire extinguisher sitting on the night stand it's strictly to get one shot for the door. Realistically the "escape windows" are not functional - really you'll kick or punch out ANY window and dive, go THROUGH it in a fire or other disaster. Stitches? OK!

I look at (a) being 66, (b) not being super fit or a contortionist and a second door - GREAT idea. I might break an ankle if I forget to unfold the steps - that would heal... So a peeper might get a better view if he could stand on the steps (notice the door glass is frosted) and if he saw me nekkid - might run screaming into the night wailing "my eyes, oh no, my eyes!" Going into a rest stop and the inside temp is 120? Two doors and two fans for quick cooling, excellent!

Only Problem? Well which way to you tilt the awning?

Drool.

Gotta admit - the "grand lounge" on the 27 and 25 is a great idea. Super flexible and looks like it will make a far more comfy bed than the average dinette, plus table height is infinitely adjustable. Might even be better than recliners.

Did anyone else notice the "garage door" on the mobile office? Right under the desk... nice way to freeze the feet in cold weather, eh? Super non functional!

Hi, I thought it might be nice to have a second door on my trailer; It would lead to my rear bedroom. I don't think that I would want to pay the price to have it done though.

Does anyone have any idea what some of these customizations cost? I'm guessing it will not be cheep. The extended back trunk looks interesting......
Cheers

I was inside the wine bar on a drop-in at the Portland Dealership back in September, I think the one I saw may have been an older Model though. Click image for larger version
