Here's a site I came across recently that has ONLY trailer art, including more than a few Airstreams. He's done pictures of many of the vintage brands.

Vintage Trailer Art

No, I have no affiliation to them.

Thumbs up Air Art

Seeing this thread is about Artists IN Airstreams, I thought this might be a good place to tell everyone a bit about myself.

My name is Michael Depraida and I'm a full timing airstreamer.
I've been an Airforums member about 5 years now.

I sold my home and left New York to start my full timing adventure in January 2000.
It's been a blast!

I'm also a working artist. I exhibit my paintings all over the United States and Europe.
Most of my art consists of large oil and acrylic paintings, contemporary abstract in nature.
One thing I like the most about chris-crossing America is how the changing environments reflects itself in my art work.

I have an unusual tow vehicle, which I think of as my rolling garage, it is a Ford E350, 7.3L TD 15' Box truck. In it I keep all my art canvas, paint supplies, large pantry, 225cc street legal dirt bike, tools and more stuff than I care/can remember.

The top of my tow vehicle is covered with solar panels, and I have been completely solar independent for about 9 months.

I create all my paintings outside my 1995 28' Excella.

All my Airstream art is created inside my Airstream.
I use a combination of digital, drawing, painting, and photography to complete my work.

The Airstream art you see here just sort of happened; it's a fun distraction to my large paintings. I was thrilled when Airstream Inc decided to purchase the large limited editions of all my original work for their own collection. Airstream Inc has been very encouraging and also sells my art in their corporate store.

I hope you will stop by my website to see my artwork.

Sincerely,
Michael (aka) ArtStream

Smile Airstream Art

Hi Guys
So happy to find this post!
I was recently inspired by our Airstream to create handmade one-of-a-kind Airstream necklaces. www.rippledesign.etsy.com

I would love to work in my Airstream but these New England winters are much to cold for that! Maybe someday when the kids a grown and we move to warmer weather that could happen.

I always stock the camper with crayons, markers, tape and scissors when we go on the road!

Michele

OK I'm Back, Getting New Trailer

Hi all, sorry it has been awhile since my last post, as I had posted, we had an unfortunate accident and the Safari was a total loss. Glad to report that we have just found a new one and will take delivery the first weekend of Dec. (if we can work out the details to get it transported to Florida!) It was very difficult to think of anything else, but now the funk seems to be lifting now that the insurance and replacement are on the way.

So let's get rolling on having an "artists in airstreams" rally! Any new artist out there?

I'd attend a rally for certain... I do a variety of mediums but lately mostly photography turned digital art.

A project for the Artist in you

I have been involved these past few weeks in designing a Bra. Yep....! a Bra.
The Painted Bra Art Project | Facebook

I really am having fun at it...and for a great cause. Incorporating rivets, lots of rivets, polished aluminum, pink flamingos, Airstream logos (not worried about copyrights,) ...
you get the idea. I sure could use some ideas here....better yet, make your own and join the group.
