I would be interested in resale value in 10 years, just asking nothing more.

Best regards and safe travels..........

that's fine - do not feel bashed.
check it out they have some real fashioned lines know

it was our decision and just another story in the airstream purchase process
we waved contemporary over space and comfort with loss of a few favorite camping spots as we are too big now.

Glad you interpreted my comments correctly. No offense meant at all. Glad you are happy with your unit. I just dont think it's what the OP is looking for.

Frankly, there are very few offerings out there that match the contemporary requirement.

This is still a concept and is a German manufacturer, so I have no idea if they'd ever be available in the US, but I like what I see. Their current models are all motorhomes and camper vans.

He Said, "How Can You?"

A fun dialogue that has happened to us, on this issue, was in a campground. We had been given several positive comments about our Airstream, and the other Flying Cloud a couple of sites down, on a trip. Then, my next-site neighbor guy commented, "How do you stand to camp in that tiny, narrow trailer. Ha, I thought! He and his spouse were "camping" in a very tall and wide box trailer, with expansions open, all around. He was a great neighbor, who was fun to talk to. His "tiny trailer" comment came at me by surprise. He also mentioned that his wife wanted a bigger bathtub. They were going to trade this one in on a larger model, when they got home. I just smiled and said that we like to "rough it" in our "little AS." Honestly, however, we laugh about that very issue ... We hardly are roughing it in an Airstream. My take on this is that there are two types of trailer campers, and maybe some in the middle. There are people like us, who like a high quality, easy, light tow and set-up "camper-trailer." There are others that really are taking a "vacation cabin" to different places. For us, those really aren't into "camping." We meet and enjoy visiting with various types in the campgrounds. We did enjoy these neighbors, too. Yes, we have talked about a bit larger Airstream. But, every time we do, we stare at our prized Airstream "Easy," and realize that we have more here than we personally need, already. Viva la Difference. Makes the world go around, doesn't it! Dave

Great story. You take a financial hit anytime you trade something in. I can’t imagine doing this just to get a bigger bathtub.
