If the Argosy counts, I have two; it and a 2004 FLHTPI. First Airstream (if an Argosy is considered an Airstream), third HD. No Corvettes but I work for a car group that has a Chevy franchise. My office is at that location and I walk by multiple Vettes every weekday.

We also love our 69 Overlander. It on the other hand hasn't been so cost effective. Although we haven't had many bad experiences on the road, she sat for 16+ years before we got her and that has taken a toll on most of the mechanical and electrical items. I think with time this too will become a very enjoyable addition

Got Centramatics last year-
Up till now, my Airstream is the most expensive thing I have ever bought.
My Tundra is the second most expensive thing I have bought.
My Avalon is the third most expensive.
My Pathfinder is the fourth.
My Harley is the fifth most expensive thing I ever bought, but in chrome and accessories might exceed the Pathfinder, Avalon, and Tundra in money.
The Airstream is still the most expensive thing I ever owned, exceeding 2 houses I have owned in price.

Doesn't surprise me! The only thing we don't like about our AS is the windows. We are always watching the classified adds, maybe upgrade someday! More money!!

Well, even with all of the modifications, our 2014 Classic is still less expensive than the Rolls Royce Cornich convertible I saw on the Penske show room floor in Phoenix at $450,000.. I guess the buyer takes his change in a Porsche.

Still looking for the bride side of the money pit.

Here is a shot of the two Icons together. The towing performance is amazing handling is way beyond the trailers capability. Not a lot of storage though and better find paved campgrounds.

No vette for me. I've always liked them, but just always went another direction. Same with a Harley, I put too many miles on a bike to ride a Harley.

After separating from my wife, I did my laundry and found over 400.00 in money in the washer. The next week was over 500.00. Only then, did I realize I had a habit of putting the change from a hundred, in my pocket. This was every work day, which was 340 days a year. You can only imagine how much money she ''laundered'' over 15 years. I was too busy and trusting to realize this. Money is the ''truth serum'' of people's character. She always said she loved me, while looking at my pockets...now I know why.

Live small

LIfe can lead you to develop interests in as many different directions as there points on the compass. Some as obvious as N S E & W, others more obscure. We tend to think and live small, which led us to small Italian cars, small two stroke motorcyles and a small Airstream. Relatively small outlays required to indulge ourselves, as well.

Ahoy Streaminwild

Id bet you thought she was looking fondly between your pockets.

Well that's not a problem Id have. Never been Plagued with having only hundred bills for lunch monies, I'd say that's a good problem!

And as for using our toys ourselves, that's a must do. Had a fun drive in the S C yesterday.
Rolled up to the Grand Canyon in the late morning, cruised the painted desert early afternoon, down thru Flagstaff, oak Creek and Sedona late afternoon, thru Jerome and on over Mingus mountain and back to home base before dark.

Not quite the Arctic circle. But a fun drive.
I really enjoy the road trip stories.

Cheers Richard

Got to ask Robert, does the Alfa really handle towing your Bambi OK.
Neat rig if so.

Cheers Richard
