With 11 days down and a 4 days to go in British Columbia, I would highly recommend this province. We started in Peachland on Lake Okanagan with it's many vinyards an wineries, our favorite Dirty Laundry. Then on to Whistler via Lillooet. The Sea to Sky highway from Squamish to Horseshoe Bay is one of the most beautiful drives we have ever done. Then we took the BC Ferry to naniamo then to Tofino. After two night on Mackenzie beach we are now nestled at Brown's Bay Resort north of Campbell River. If this area is not on your bucket list I suggest you ad it!

Might need another propane tank.
I get 4 weeks vacation next year.
Propane doesn't vaporize well in sub-zero conditions. Not only would you need another propane tank, you'd need a propane tank heater for Antarctica. Still, for sheer ambition and audacity, your ultimate caravan takes the grand prize!

Guess yours is an "ice bucket list"!

Wow, I haven't heard of half of these. Mid-may of next year, my contract ends and I'll be looking for a new one. I am thinking of taking my fully restored 64 on a 1 month trip that goes across the top and bottom of the U.S. Maybe getting some pics of us standing in each Ocean. I'll have to go through this list and see what works for us.

One issue is that I will have boys aged 7 and 13 (we'll probably skip Vegas and Burning Man). It may be tough for me and my wife to keep our sanity. I should save money with a 3500 lb 26' 1964 trailer but requests to stop every 5 miles for food may be tough to ignore. Fortunately my wife is a healthnut. Unfortunately, you can't always pull through a drive through for organic bananas.

Any idea where people get those neat US maps with the states colored in?
