Looks great. To bad they did not put the Airstream logo on the grill grate. You could have Airstream branded into your steak...

A grill that gets hot

I bought this grill last summer. Works a lot better than what I had because it is designed for the low pressure system of the Airstream Interstate.

Webber Grill

We have two Webber electric grills, one for home and one for the Airstream. They really work well and no cost for propane usage.

I have a older Webber that I want to convert from gas bottle to quick connect and that means that I will have to remove and do away with the regulator that is on the grill.
I would appreciate some close up pictures of the gas inlet area of your grill. Thank you in advance. I am also sure that others will be doing the same thing.

MB Sturgis or Amazon (same kit) have the conversion kit for the Weber Q, there is also a nice video on the Sturgis site that shows the exact conversion. I did it and it is very simple with good instructions. You can call them and get an extra quick connect fitting to make the regulator go back on the Weber, so you can use a bottle too.

Here is the link

Weber is reliable option

Weíve got an older Weber Q with a stand and used it in Colorado last summer to grill chicken and vegetables. Granted it only has one U-shaped burner, the cast iron grate helps maintain even cooking.

Folded down, it *just* fits between our Ramís BakFlip cover and bed rug. Enjoy your cool new Airstream grill!

The Grill

We have the same Weber Grill works well. Day 1 we layered aluminum foil under
The burners. Mine rides in the back bed of the truck with its cover. The disposable foil makes clean up a less mess and who wants the smell from burnt food residue and drippings in a 100 degree plus bed.

Got one. LOVE IT!!! Think burgers, steaks, chicken. This is not for anything you need to cook for a long time. Handles the wind really well and cleans up easily.

You would be surprised at how well a Weber Q does roasts and baking. It is more like an oven than a regular gas BBQ.

Another thumbs up for the Weber AS grill. Works well and is easy to transport.
