Airstream beer?

We have grown to love IPAs and found a little 4 pack of Detour "Double IPA" in our local liquor store that certainly appears to be an old International Scout towing an vintage Airstream, albeit the label on the back of the Airstream look-alike says "Hoppy Camper." Pretty clever. Kudos to Uinta Brewing in Salt Lake City.

That's a pretty cool looking label.

At the Unita site, it just says it's an Airstream, pulled by an International Scout. Detour started out in 2010

Airstream beer?

Came across this today also...a finer IPA I believe than Accumulation, pricier too.

Like it says on the label , a double IPA... very hoppy, very full bodied, with a nice bitter finish, dark amber in color with a good head.

It's gravity indicator of 9.5 impresses me too. 3.2 beer is only to be consumed if absolutely nothing else is available!

It's covering the country well. We were up in Boston this weekend and my son gave me a 4-pack. Good stuff.

Delicious IPA. Hoppy and full bodied. The 9.5% ABV is to be respected. This is a stay at home beer!

I have one of the wooden display signs they made for it, just like the label. Perks of running a bar.

When our family gathers, people frequently leave one or two bottles of their favorite or odd brew. Then, at the next gathering, we clean out my fridge by having an Orphan Beer Tasting so everyone can find new or different beer they would not usually buy. My brother found the Detour at a local electic grocery here in Cincinnati so we tried it out this weekend.

Rather too hoppy for me, but you can bet I'm keeping the bottles for some craft!!

Thanks for giving us the heads up on this one!
