Airstream Bedrooms Do This to Me Everytime

Whenever I see a photo of another inviting AS bedroom on this forum, all I want to do is crawl in and go to sleep.

There's something about the coziness and security of those images - gets to me everytime! J5MM posted some great pictures of the sheepskin rugs turned bedspread/sofa cover....I'm done for now. I can hardly keep my eyes open.

Does this happen to you too?

The storage yard (with 12v AC) is close to my two favorite lunch restaurants. After lunch, I turn on the AC or heat pump as appropriate, maybe watch a little TV, and take my afternoon nap. It is quiet and private and is my little cocoon. My new twin beds (had been a crosswise queen) are more comfortable than the bed at home.

LOL! Know exactly what you mean.

If every married couple had an AS in the backyard, I bet the divorce rate would plummet! We all need that "cocoon" time.

I have got to ask. What is 12v AC? My AC requires 120v. Does this have anything to do with what you had for lunch?

It's a great escape for me when work is really stressful and I need to get away for an hour or so and just dream of being off somewhere camping.

I also know two little Jack Russells that like that escape as well.

Tonight we are camped in Buffalo. This is our 939th night sleeping in Lucy. Lucy's bedroom is always cozy and comfortable, albeit a bit crowded with friends.

Lucy's bedroom is our retreat from the world.

ummm, anyone know where to get a new mattress?

Looks comfortable, but the minute I laid down on it, felt like I was sleeping on my concrete driveway!
Oh well, maybe a new mattress pad tomorrow will help. Looks inviting at least....

The curtains the came from the factory in the 1970's and 80's remind me of the inside of the tops of fancy coffins. I think they got the original design from their use in small executive jets.
