Air Compressor?
Do you carry an air compressor for tires?
I'll have my two Honda Gens in the bed of the truck and I'm trying to decide if I want to add the weight of a compressor.
Thanks,
Steve

I carry one. Those dinky little 12v compressors that plug into a cigarette lighter/power outlet take forever to air up tires to over 60psi, so I went with one that runs on 120vAC and can handle up to 150psi. I can run it off my generator if necessary.
Mine is a 1.5-gallon Craftsman compressor that I picked up at my local K-mart. It's not all that heavy; only weighs 25 pounds.

This rides in the back of the Suburban next to the Honda 2000. Its 120 +/- PSI.
Bought it used and was badly scratched up. Plus, sometimes I just get bored in the shop!

I have an air chuck on the back bumper beside the license plate along with a three gallon air tank due to the level ride air bag suspension system.

I carry a 12V compressor. It can add 5 pounds in about 2 minutes, which seems strong enough for most use. It only weighs a couple pounds.

As some others do, I carry a small 110v air compressor with tank on our trips since I have the Honda generator along with us anyway.
It is however a very noisy little sucker compared to the larger compressor/tank I have in the garage. I believe it is a diaphragm type rather than a piston compressor. If I had to replace it, I would look to see if I could find a small piston unit instead for that reason.

Wish we had room to carry a 120v compressor to run with the genny, but we don't have the room to spare. So we carry a small 12v compressor that works great for topping off the tires when necessary...it does the job.

Our 120v Compressor Choice
We carry a small Senco and use it quite often on the road.

Small size 10 inches long Appx. 5 Lbs that is a best guess on weight. works well cost was $80.00 amazon. there larger and smaller versions but this size was a good fit in that the next version up cost almost twice with the biggest upgrade is a longer hose. and a carry bag. works well. stores under the rear seat of my 2006 dodge 2500 crew cab 5.9 diesel.
