25' FC Newbie here

We are so excited to have purchased our first AS today! We got the 25FC twin to house us and our two labrador retrievers as we explore North America. I would like to thank all of the thread posters on this forum who have shared tips and wisdom. We have spent several weeks pouring over the forum searching for answers to questions and found a wealth of information. The rig we chose today is very different than what we thought we wanted at the beginning of our search. You have all helped us make a much more informed choice and we are very appreciative.

We are basking in the glow tonight but tomorrow the work begins to plan our first cross country/Canadian adventure. We had originally planned a trip staying in hotels but now have to start over (happily) planning stops at campgrounds! It is all very overwhelming but we are looking forward to the challenge and adventure of it all.

Thanks again!

How exciting! You must be absolutely thrilled. Enjoy the trailer, and be sure to post pictures of your two Labrador retrievers (and your trailer too of course).

Pick up a copy of "Next Exit", good on interstates telling you what you can expect regarding gas stations, hotels etc-- takes the stress out of pull throughs.

Congrats WAXahatchie! (used to live in Dallas :-) )

You'll love the openness of the twin bed model. We know.

Safe travels!

Congrats! We just got a 25FC Rear Twin a couple of weeks ago. Our two dogs like the extra space over our previous 20'. We like it too.

We are taking a long odyssey from Texas but will spend two weeks in Canada, visiting Banff, Jasper, Vancouver and Whistler.

We start out in Texas, and then go to Denver, Wyoming, Montana and GNP, three national parks in Canada, Vancouver, Whistler, back to Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Tahoe, and then back to Texas somehow, probably through Phoenix. Trying to plan it and stay in hotels was a nightmare!

Just got back from our shakedown cruise. We kept looking at each other and saying, "this is comfortable!"
