I am trying to find out what the door on the LR of my 72 Land Yacht is called. It is located by where the bathroom would have been. It’s probably around 15”x10” roughly. I need a new one and have checked exterior parts list on Vintage trailer as well as a few others. Thanks in advance.
May have been water heater or battery compartment. Look at the remnants on the inside.

Battery was on the other side. The inside is completely cleared out. Just replaced all of the subfloor. It’s possible that it’s a water heater cover but I could’ve sworn the was further towards the front. I’ll look though.

This is a pic of our 73 Ambassador. We have installed a tankless water heater where the original was. When we purchased it was blanked off, and a two gallon electric water heater was in the bedroom.
You don't need the original door, because there is nothing to access. If you don't spend the huge cost of replacing the two panels just get a piece of aluminum and rivet it in place of the door. Looks like you already have holes in the trailer to match up with. Maybe, put a piece of black rubber in between as a sealer leaving excess to stick out so it looks like it belongs. Or even a piece of aluminum trim cut to go around the new aluminum patch all sealed with rivets so it looks like the original door. The original door hinges on the bottom and latches on top. Heck you don't even have anything there to adhere too.Start thinking outside the box. Enjoy your creative side.
