What behind this bolt?

The bolts that act as the stops for the shore line storage. Is there a capitive nut on the other side, is the bolt just threaded into the metal framing, or do I have to drop the curved panel to get at a standard nut to remov ethe bolt?

LOL! If you pry the aluminum back slightly on the frame fin you can see with a flash light it is attached to nothing!

Are you saying that the nut on the surface is welded to the frame, or a PEM nut installed from the wrong side? Can i just back the bolt out with an allen wrench leaving the nut in place? I don't want to brake it off in trying the wrong approach.

No matter what you do it is time to start soaking in with good penetrating oil, not WD40.
