Screen inside fridge vent

I have stinkbugs that love the louvered vents that open up to the back of the fridge. Will a metal screen on the inside of the vent prevent proper airflow required? There are 2 vents...one with the fan. I also have them coming in the AC slats. Has anyone ever screened the AC? Would that prevent proper airflow as well?
This is a desperate move....But I've had it with these things.

Any additional screening or filters will reduce air flow. The fan on the back of the refrig. is there to help air move across coils;so air movement is essential. Have you tried any types of repellants?

Dave, stinkbugs are really bad, they seem to use normal insect repellent to gargle with. The only two things I've found to kill them is spraying them with strong soapy water, or flattening them with a shoe--or brick. And the soapy water doesn't work that well.

Try oil of oregano, or mint, from a mint plant or a concentrate.

Good luck.
