Missing Hatch Cover

Well, it was there when I started towing it home, but it's gone on Hwy 5 now. It must have just worked its way out of the channel and blown away. The dealer that sold it to me had no keys so it wasn't locked. Now I have to have a new one made. Any advice as to who should do the work or how much it's going to cost me?

Ouch!!! I haven't lost a hatch before, but, on my old tent trailer I had a hard propane tank cover disapear on I-90. So, I bought a soft cover for it, and it blew away too.

Watch eBay. I sold a 14" X 12" compartment door just last week, complete with frame. Your door might even turn up there eventually.
These doors are not easy to fabricate. It took Airstream a long time to realize that these covers need to be hinged so they don't simply fall off.

I thought a while back while I was surfing around that I came across a vendor that sold different hatch covers for Airstream. Vintage Trailer Supply? I know it will probably bug me until I find that. I will look up your tread if I do. Now I believe it shouldn't be 'too' difficult to reproduce another one. Look in Search. There are some posts of members making hatch doors for new hatch accesses.
