Lost the keys to my 1970 Globe Trotter outside compartment doors and 2 locksmiths have not been able to solve the problem...any ideas on how to get these keys replaced? Arizona Al
You could try this key. Can you get to all of them from the rear and just/remove and replace them - I can't tell from looking at pics. of your unit style on Vintage Airstreams site.....
Ganglin...I still have the key to the rear compartment (electrical etc) lost key to frig access and side door by rear bed which can be accessed from the inside the frig door can not be gotten to without a LOT of work.
This is actually a 69 Globe Trotter 12/69, 21 foot.
Any other Airstreamers in your area? We have found our keys on the Argosy Minuet to be sort of generic....other Airstreamers have keys that may fit and work your locks. Maybe somebody else local can come to your rescue.

When I bought my AS a few months ago, the PO couldn't find any of the keys. For the outside compartments, on a whim, I tried my friend's keys for his Coachmen travel trailer and they worked...I think the locks are fairly generic...
I guess there not any of us older members left on the forums who will respond to this question anymore. Per Wally Byam's order following his experiences on the many Caravans of the 50's and 60's, all outside comartment keys on all Vintage trailers are keyed alike. Borrow a set from someone else and have new ones made.
