Ours has about 10 - 1/2" holes drilled on the underside all the way across. The tube came from the factory, not sure about the drain holes.

I have two factory installed carriers on my trailer. One holds the primary slinky with a 45 elbow connector to the trailer. The other holds the backup/extension slinky with extension coupler already attached.

I installed one on our '65 Caravel some years ago. I drilled several 1/2 inch holes in the end caps to allow some air flow to dry out the hose. Works well. Much nicer to deal with a dry hose.

We had two extra tubes installed at the factory as part of our original build - they carry the extension and backup hoses so I can use the bumper compartment for other things.
