Adding compartment doors

I'm considering adding compartment doors to my '76 Ambassador that only has 2 small exterior door access. I can get Airstream compartment doors off of one being junked but the locks are gone.

Two questions. As far as installing the doors, do I just drill out the existing rivets off the door frame, cut the outer and inner skins to accept the door, and then use Olympic rivets to secure it back on? I'll have to use the shaver to round out the rivets.

As for the missing locks, how can I replace them? Can a locksmith just install one?
