Talking '01 Excella front storage compartment

On our '01 Excella there is a small metal storage box mounted in front on the "A" Frame. It is exposed to the elements and is suitable only for items that are able to handle moisture. I have not used it for anything and have been wondering what other AS owners have kept in there. Today I painted the "A" Frame after cleaning it up and also painted the storage box. Inside and out. Now I would like to make use of the space.

Thanks all. See ya on the road sometime

I keep the leveling blocks there and the base for the jack. Also the handle for the Reese w/d hitch.

We keep two yellow plastic wheel chocks (which we rarely use), the original jack support tube, a 4 x 6 wood block, and the tongue-twister in there. Doesn't matter if they get a bit wet. The weep holes dry in out soon enough. We chock with BAL X chocks kept in the rear trunk. The yellow ones are for emergency use, or when we leave her at the repair shop.
