Zip Dee Chairs

Hi all new members,
I called Zip Dee today to purchase those famous chairs.Ah so comfy .Well they no longer make them famous stainless steel chairs .Prices for the stainless steel are to expensive.The old ones will be collectables.Now they are made of steel with crome plateing.This months special buy 2, get a lounger free.

That's too bad about the stainless steel frame. That's what set the ZipDee chairs apart. I would still think there would be a market for those willing to pay for the upgraded material. I noticed the fabric on mine are getting a little worn - wonder if ZipDee will redo them. Sounds like I won't be leaving them at the campfire after the fire's been put out.

Zip Dee chairs

A nice substitute for Zip Dee chairs is an item from Coleman. They are a high end bright aluminum folding chair with a heavy grey material which matches our Zip Dee awning. They're comfy, too. Found them at a Coleman Outlet Store.

Yes, Zip Dee will sell new fabric slings for the chairs. You have to call them direct, but you can select from any Sunbrella fabric available. We ordered solid aquamarine (lt. green) that matches one of the stripe colors in our vintage-style awning.
