You just never know...

what you'll find out there.

I "found" this oldie out in Hillside, Colorado this weekend. I've known about it for awhile and it never moves. Parked deep in the woods, you'd have to look hard to find it. Looks to be in pretty good shape and is almost currently licensed (9/04)

Enjoy!

It's miles from anywhere. You'd have to be looking in order to find her...

A little help here...

It looks Airstream-ish, but is that rear end cap original? Can't say I've seen anything like it -- even in the Avion line. Enlarging XRay's 3rd post I believe the front is normal for the older end caps. But the back has definitely been modified in some repair...

Yes, the famous California Dutchman or Whaletale. You will see examples on VintageAirstream.com 1954 Flying Cloud.

You just never know...

The windows help to identify it as a pre-1959 model, and it appears to me to be either a Cruiser or Overlander that was sold as a 26' coach. If my notes are correct, the whale tale would date it as a pre-1957 model built in California.
