Hey Garry -- nice looking TV. But the invisible Airstream behind it is way cool! Heckuva polish job. Where can we get one of those?

[okay: feet back on the ground... you got a lot more snow than we saw in central Minnesota.]

Yes Rodney -- more pampered Airstream owner gifts needed!

For Christmas my kids bought me some new Baby Moons for the airstream. The orginal hubcap clips are rusted off and everything I bought from Walmart became road trash. The Moon hubs I know will stay on. As soon as I opened the package I went out and put them on.

Well, the DW and I had the same idea and bought each other trailer gifts.

She got me an Ëasy Hitch" hitch locating device, telecoping magnet-based poles with LED lights on the top, one for the ball, the other for the hitchcap. And, a pistol-grip air inflator with built-in air pressure guage.

I got her a pair of FRS radios and an FM transmitter that plugs into one of the DC jacks in the trailer or her TV, so that she can use an SD card or a USB thumb drive to play MP3s in either one.

A gadget-oriented xmas.

I got a subscription to Airstream Life Mag, 4 sleeping bags and the newest Woddall's Campground Directory book from my parents, we also received a Coleman propane lantern and two matching baby lanterns, some camp cups, and a compass from DH family. They all thought we would be easy to buy for this year! They were right!

Momma got a blanket and tee-shirt from Jackson Center and I got a tee-shirt. We try to do something AS related every year as it makes us more excited for 4/15 - when we can unwinterize and begin using our AS again.

Other than finding and buying our AS, we took a trip over to Camping World and perused the isles. I'm thinking about getting a Coleman stove and a set of iron skillets. "He" signed me up/ encouraged me to attend the Can Opener in Jan.--next week! and the TN Smoky mountain Rally Oh, and a subscription to AL magazine. Making a list of things to consider and buy down the road.
Already dreaming, planning and scheming about what the AS will look like when she's done...

I took a trip to the mountains in the wife's Beetle to scout campgrounds as part of my Christmas. Got some card games and some other camping related odds and ends that will make their way into the AS.

Got a copy of Bob Muncy's book "Silver Avions and Cayos". A decent read on the history of another silver brand.

"He" must care about you very much.

That sounds like an enjoyable read. I'm working on a friend who did the publishing of Wanderlust to find me a rivet cover one... we'll see.

"He" must care about you very much.
Yes, he does! I don't always understand why or how, but I'm grateful
The nicest thing is that he's willing to try out my dream even though it was never something he thought about. And he says he'll support it even if it's not something he enjoys! Guess it's my turn, since I've been living his boating dreams for the past ten+ years...

Thumbs up Airstream Life Cover

I picked up a few cool Tee Shirts from our very own resident artist, ArtStream.

My favorite tee shirt design is the one that's on the current cover of Airstream Life magazine.

I had Michael sign the Tee shirt and the magazine cover for me

I bought my wife a 2003 Classic Limited 30'. I took her to Georgia to take her present home. We spent three nights in Wall-Marts on the way home. All the paperwork is done, taxes paid and the RIV, and now, we are awaiting spring to go for a trial weekend. Can't wait!
Happy New Year from Eastern Canada.
